Foggy

Hey guys.. What a great day, So this morning I am driving with guests to the Ngorongoro crater and the road on the rim was so fogy..( due to tis high altitudes up to 2700m a.s.l) very misty that we could hardly see ahead.. with my full lights on I kept driving normally as so were other guides.

We must have been driving for one hour before one of the guest finally broke the silence.. Godson how do you still manage to drive so normally with all these fog? I smiled and joked..I don’t really see, I am just driving forward.. of course it is easy to drive when the road is clear and when you can see so far ahead but when you can’t see the whole road its hard, very hard BUT when we thought about it we discovered the trick, by driving those few meters ahead at a time you realize once you get the end of those few you see the next few and on you go and before you know it you’ve arrived..but even more interesting the fog didn’t last throughout the whole trip it was almost half way and then everything including the craters view was clear..and we had the best view one would wish for and of course the game drive later was absolutely fantastic, saw everything we wanted..

During lunch break at one of the picnic sites in the crater we reflected on the moments we had had so far and it clicked to us.. isn’t what we just went through what everyone goes through in life.?..Including myself? I have had days when I felt lost just because I didn’t know how was my next day, going to be or even my life in the next months or years let alone my whole future.. in all aspects be it career, relationship, academics, business all aspects..there are those days and moments when you feel it.. it either you sit and complain and cry and wait till the fogs fades, which you don’t have control and don’t know when it will clear or go ahead with that one day at a time fully having faith in what lies ahead…clear adventures.. and before you know it.. the mist is gone from your life and everything now is as clear as you’ve always wanted and planed..perhaps even more rewarding than you expected….

And sometimes don’t worry.. relax and trust a friend if you’ve got one or me Godson🤣 as my guests did when we drove around trusting that I knew what I was doing and eventually we would made it through.. its also an opportunity for us to be those friends that could be trusted giving others hope and encouragement. You never know that’s all it takes to either turn them back from their lifetime trip or propel them to their glory… I just thought I could share these thoughts with you all.. Asante sana.. and by the way I have attached photos of our sightings these morning on the gallery’s page.

See you in the next wild experience... stay tuned...
